We all know you can pick your friends and you can pick your nose (whether you can pick your friend's nose is completely up to them), but I am now giving you the opportunity to pick your blog post. I have 3 blog posts here, none of which are fit for a post of their own (we do have some standards here at BdW). To a certain people, any of the three items could be of interest. Chances are, all of them won't be of interest to everyone. With that in mind, I allow you to choose one of the follow posts to read and enjoy.

Any explanation or guesses for these? ************************ on Thu 13th Sep, 2007 07:40 am PDT Wren said: Saxtor, Saxtor, Saxtor....rookie mistake. All of these words are covered on BdW. Perhaps plug them into google and see where it takes you. ************************ on Thu 13th Sep, 2007 09:59 am PDT Saxtor said: All of them made sense in the context after a google, except for "organic kumbacha tea." When did that come up here? ************************ on Thu 13th Sep, 2007 03:40 pm PDT Andrew said: i chose the wrong post. can i get my money back? i have buyer's remorse. ************************ on Thu 13th Sep, 2007 04:51 pm PDT Sarah F said: speaking of $$, i haven't gotten mine yet, Wren, from "our winnings" in vegas... what's up????? i may not be able to employ you to gamble by proxy any longer. ************************ on Thu 13th Sep, 2007 07:06 pm PDT Joe Wilbur said: new runt flavors...lol...are you proud of yourself wren? ************************ on Fri 14th Sep, 2007 02:32 am PDT Horge said: Just wanted to see if anything could be done about the excessively long sentences you attach to your *'s? I only learned about them when some helpful co-BdW-er pointed them out. But it's a bit annoying when I hover and see the full sentence isn't displayed. I have to write click and see it's properties :( So. How about fixing it so we can see the whole sentence just by hovering, write shorter sentences or put two *'s if your asides are more long-winded. Just a thought dude. And happy anniversary of underemployment! ************************ on Fri 14th Sep, 2007 02:33 am PDT Horge said: um. "right click" not "write". yippee-skippy college graduate! yay! :) ************************ on Fri 14th Sep, 2007 07:33 am PDT cardboard said: I gotta agree on Horge on this one, i experianced this problem yesterday and was vexed. Hovering is hellof badrear tho wren and I applaud you for doing that hovering thing. Only problem is they sentances are to damn long.... The double hover marks could really help solve this problem in an easy to fathom sort of way...you cruise up see the double hovers and get ready for not only 1 but 2 little tids. ************************ on Fri 14th Sep, 2007 11:14 am PDT Saxtor said: This one's for you whiners. The truncated title tags is a known bug in Firefox that is slated to be fixed in the 3.0 release. Until then, you can install this Firefox extension*. You're welcome. ************************ on Sat 15th Sep, 2007 02:03 am PDT Sean said: Man, i thought it was going to be like a choo choo choose your own adventure post. ************************ on Sat 15th Sep, 2007 05:50 pm PDT THE Joe Wilbur said: I have no problem with the asterisk-hover-text thingers. ************************ on Sat 15th Sep, 2007 05:53 pm PDT THE Joe Wilbur said: the post on underemployment makes me wish I was unemployed!!! you make it sound so nice! and it is really...i might quit soon. ;-) ************************ on Sun 16th Sep, 2007 06:45 pm PDT Chris said: It's probably just me, but is anybody else getting excessively long load times for BdW lately? Don't get me wrong, it's worth the wait, but I think it's messing with my PHP code (Sorry wren, I'll get you back into the sidebar as soon as I can!) ************************ on Sun 16th Sep, 2007 08:46 pm PDT Wren said: Chris, I am having some performance issues that I am currently trying to track down. My host just made some server changes that hopefully will fix things up. Additionally, I plan a bit of a back-end rearrangement in the coming weeks which hopefully will increase performance. I appreciate you all sticking with it as I work through these issues. ************************ |
